Dear Santa (or whatever benevolent spirit opts to give me presents this year to make up for my busted ankle),
Starting with Ryan Gosling’s abs…. here is my list:
Adorable graphic pillows for any dog-lover, by artist Aaron Stewart.
Happy Thanksgiving all!
The last week has been eventful; I moved into a new apartment! My roomie and her bf wanted to live together so I’ve moved into a new apartment in Prospect Heights with a friend. Long week indeed. But now… back to the internet!
Vintage suitcases repurposed into drawers. Pretty brilliant and awesome to look at.
‘Enclosures’- an installation by French artist Charles Matton.
From 1985 until his death in 2008, Charles Matton created mixed media works which defy easy classification. Theatrical, atmospheric, meticulously constructed, his small scale interiors are housed in see through boxes with glass fronts. The miniature spaces represent real world interiors and revisited memories from Matton’s own life, as well as other recognizable places such as Francis Bacon’s studio, or the library of his close friend Jean Baudrillard.
I’ve resisted getting a Crock Pot for awhile, on the basis that I am not my mother. Plus, I’m 27! It seems so… Old. But thanks to a friend’s affinity for making amazeballs soups with hers, and the plethora of slow cook recipes on Pinterest, I think I’m going to make the jump. This one is on sale, AND red (matches my kitchen). And it’s getting cold here in New York (hell, we already had a snow dump), and the idea of coming home to a roast or soup after work, it appeals.
The greatest tape dispenser ever. Functional, and totally awesome.
Cupcake holder. Listen, I bake cupcakes a lot. And the stupid thing is I do it with the intention of sharing with friends or taking to work or whatever, and never have a way to carry them, so I’m carrying a Pyrex dish covered in foil onto the subway and the foil half blows off and the cupcakes are sliding around… this would eliminate that problem. Looking at this makes me want to eat some cupcakes, actually.
Is anyone else having issues with editing their theme in Tumblr? It seems that I can’t view anything past my first page, and when I’ve been trying out new themes it’s…. all wonky.
I love when you can find such amazing couture on Etsy, especially when it’s made to order… Behold!
